SUMMARY:
Focused on prospecting and growing the Embedded Product design and Embedded software business in the USA. The candidate should have direct and first-hand experience in identifying and opening new accounts. Past experience in business development or technical pre-sales or application engineering representing engineering services is required. Direct experience and a good understanding of processes from prospecting to closing and experience in collaborating with internal, and customer engineering teams.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identifies and develops sales opportunities within Fabless Semiconductor and OEMs to build a customer pipeline
Pro-active analysis of System Engineering and Embedded Systems opportunities in the target business lines and identifying potential customers
Present the MosChip’s value propositions – in Embedded, Firmware, hardware, software, IoT, and AI/ML to the potential customers. Understanding ASIC/FPGA is a plus.
Drive the closure of contracts and project-specific agreements
Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
Develop long-term relationships with Director & VP level executives at targeted accounts
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of overall experience with 2+ years directly with hardware, embedded, and software engineering services company and over 3+ years of experience selling/marketing engineering services, IoT, Mobility, AI/ML.
Demonstrable track record of achieving sales quota
Able and willing to develop a client base in new territory
Experience with working offshore services company operating in the high tech domain and cultural adaptability to work across the globe with engineering & marketing teams
Good technical skills to carry out the first level of technical discussions with prospective customers.
EDUCATION BACKGROUND:
B.E./B.S./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science | MBA preferred
